About Las Vegas Inspection Services

Our President, Garrett Baughn, is a native Las Vegan who began his career 23 years ago loading building materials at a local lumber yard but soon found that he was better suited selling the materials and developed a knack for finding difficult special order items, as the internet was very new back then.  This lead to reading blueprints which turned his skill toward construction.  While in construction Garrett worked his way from Plans Coordinator to VP/Partner with a General Contractor in Las Vegas; building high-end restaurant and retail projects throughout the Vegas Valley.  Ten years ago, as construction slowed during the recession he chose a new path, one dedicated to helping people make informed decisions with their most important investment, their family's home.  As a long time member of InterNACHI, Garrett is dedicated to quality service and exceeding client expectations everyday.

This first hand experience provides Garrett an intuitive and discriminating eye for inspections. LVIS provides inspections based on the best of his vast experience coupled with today's stringent schooling and cutting edge evaluation techniques as well as practical sense regarding repairs. Garrett is also an active member in his church and community and has served on various committees for numerous construction related organizations.
